PM to visit flood-hit Karnataka on Oct 10
Bangalore, Oct 9: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would be visiting flood-hit Raichur district in Karnataka on Saturday, Oct 10.
Revenue Minister G Karunakar Reddy and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Shobha Karandlaje on Friday, Oct 9 reviewed preparations for the visit of Prime Minister.
The meeting discussed ways and means to ensure the effective presentation of State's case before Prime Minister. It also reviewed security and other arrangement for the programme.
Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa is likely to accompany Prime Minister from Hyderabad. Dr Singh is scheduled to brief media between 11 am to 11-15 am at the same premises.
