JK: Forces foil suicide attack, 1 terrorist killed

Srinagar, Oct 9: Security forces have foiled a possible suicide attack in Srinagar by a Hizbul terrorist from Pakistan on Friday, Oct 9.

Security forces also killed a militant in Pulwama who was armed with grenades and RDX explosives.

The terrorist has been identified as Umar from Pakistan. He was found wearing a belt of explosives with detonators.

Sources said that security forces suspected that he was heading for Srinagar on a suicide bombing mission.

The encounter to eliminate a group of terrorists in Pulwama has entered the fourth day.
