Improved eye care in Bangalore now with MICS
Bangalore, Oct 9: Ramachandra Gowda, the minister for medical education inaugurated Micro Incision Cataract Surgery (MICS) system at Navashakthi Nethralaya, double road Indiranagar.
Vishwanath, the MLA of Yelahanka constituency and other dignitaries were also present at the inauguration of most recent technological advance for cataract surgeries.
Gowda appealed for better eye care to be provided to the population in particular to children at an affordable cost.
He also stressed on the need for free annual check up to the school going children adding that eye hospitals should provide 'eye care for everyone'.
