The great Google Wave enters with a bang

Bangalore, Oct 8: With the new 'Wave' which integrates e-mail,instant messaging, wikis, image and document sharing into a single communications interface, Internet giant Google again proves why it is considered as one of the world's greatest corporations

Google sent out 100,000 invites to developers to preview Wave, which will be released to public in the coming year.

Wave is essentially communications and collaboration tool that creates shared, ongoing, real-time conversations called Waves.

The tool not only simplifies transfer of videos, photos, maps and other documents, but also comes equipped with interesting features like playback, which allows users who jump into an ongoing conversation to read the previous conversation.

The industry experts and developers who have received the invite to test the tool have given it a sure shot at success.
