Blast near Indian embassy in Kabul

Kabul, Oct 8 (ANI): A large explosion was reportedly heard outside the Indian embassy here on Thursday.

According to BBC reports, casualties are feared in an explosion.

According to reports, the blast took place near the interior ministry office and the Indian embassy at around 9:30 a.m.

The cause of the blast was not immediately known.

It is the fourth blast to hit the capital since mid-August, just before presidential elections were held on August 20 amid a campaign of violence and intimidation conducted by Taliban insurgents. (ANI)
