Indian Army can counter Chinese threat: Army Chief
New Delhi, Oct 7: Army Chief General Deepak Kapoor on Wednesday, Oct 7 said the Army was 'capable of defending' any aggression from China against Indian territory.
Kapoor said, "The Indian Army is capable of looking after and ensuring the defence of the country. It would take care of any aggression against Indian territory."
"The charter of the Army is to defend Indian territory at all costs. This talk of repeat of 1962 is totally incorrect and uncalled for," he said.
He also added that his force was "sincere to ensure the defence of our country to the last drop of our blood."
