Mysore software giant SPI now in Mangalore
Mangalore, Oct 6: Software Paradigms Infotech Pvt Ltd. (SPI), headquartered in Atlanta launched a new IT Development and BPO centre in Mangalore at Oberle Towers, Balmatta.
Started in 1997 in Mysore, SPI is an 100 per cent export- oriented unit providing services to global clients in IT Outsourcing and Business Process Outsourcing, including Medical Transcription (MT).
Karnataka government awarded SPI twice for excellence in exports.
“Launching SPI Mangalore is a significant milestone for the organization. It is a metaphor of SPI"s unflagging commitment to expansion and growth. In these challenging times, this center provides a great morale boost to SPI and the entire IT and ITeS industry in Karnataka," said Sid Mookerji, the MD & CEO of SPI.
"We have several new business opportunities driving our need to start a new ODC at Mangalore. SPI will bring a very capable leadership team and many skilled resources to this center creating a conducive working environment for our Mangalore center."
SPI would employ up to 100 resources in the field of IT and ITeS in the first year of its formation.
The first batch of training for Medical Transcription began on Monday, Oct 5 under the domain of a facility which, is able to handle both training and production.
