M'rashtra reports 4 H1N1 deaths; India toll at 344
New Delhi, Oct 3: The Union Health Ministry on Sunday, Oct 4 confirmed four more Swine flu deaths from Maharashtra which takes the country's H1N1 death toll to 344.
While two fatalities were reported on Saturday, Oct 3 but were officially confirmed Sunday, Oct 4; two other deaths took place on Sunday, Oct 4.
With these four deaths, Maharashtra's death toll rises to 139 which is the highest among the Indian states.
164 fresh infections were reported across the country taking the total number of cases in the country to 10,894. Maharashtra has reported the highest number of fresh cases with 56 cases, followed by Delhi (27) and Tamil Nadu (23).
