Drug peddler arrested in New Delhi
New Delhi, Oct 3 (ANI): Sleuths of the Special Operation Squad from the Crime Branch of Delhi Police arrested Sabid Ali, an international drug peddler from the vicinity of a Metro railway station in New Delhi.
Ali, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, is an international drug runner and had entered India from Nepal border.
"The arrest came after investigations into inputs that Ali is hiding in the national capital and that he would come to Welcome locality in the afternoon, said Additional Deputy Commissioner (Crime) Sanjay Tyagi.
During his interrogation, Tyagi said that Ali had told the police that he had visited Pakistan for the first time at the age of 15, as one of his sisters was married there.
Police said Interpol had issued a Red Corner Notice against him. (ANI)
