Flight carrying HM develops technical snag
Chennai, Oct 2: Chennai-Coimbatore Jetlite flight carrying Home Minister P Chidambaram made an emergency landing on Friday, Oct 2 at the Chennai airport.
Airport Official said the Jet flight which had Chidambaram on board, was forced to return after mid-air engine created trouble. The pilot choose to return to the ground as a precautionary measure.
The plane which took off at 6:45 am, landed back at 7:45 am in back in Chennai. The Home Minister finally landed safely in Coimbatore at around 10 am.
