August, September named peak months for divorce in China

New Delhi, Sep 29 (ANI): It has emerged that August and September are the peak months in which divorces happen in China.

It was revealed that in August more than 190 couples in Zhongyuan district of Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province, got divorced, which is 54 more than the previous month, reports the China Daily.

Another, Jinshui district, an average of 66 couples have divorced every week since August.

Local marriage registration officials said August and September are usually the peak months for divorce in the central metropolis ince most couples wait for their children to enrol into universities before calling it quits. (ANI)
