Vice President Hamid Ansari greets nation on Dussehra eve

New Delhi, Sep.27 (ANI): Vice President M. Hamid Ansari on Sunday greeted the people of the country for the auspicious occasion of Dussehra festival.

"I extend my greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra," said the Vice President, M.Hamid Ansari in a message to the nation.

In his message, the Vice President stated: "this festival reaffirms our faith in all that is good, noble and virtuous in life and inspires us to strive towards peace and harmony in the society."

"Dussehra celebrates the epic victory of Lord Rama over Ravana, symbolising the triumph of good over evil. This festival reaffirms our faith in all that is good, noble and virtuous in life and inspires us to strive towards peace and harmony in the society. May this festival bring peace, prosperity and joy in our lives," the message added.

Dussehra will be celebrated across the country on Monday (Sep.28). (ANI)
