New York, Sep.27 (ANI): In what may be seen as a clear defiance on Pakistan's part on taking stern action against Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Islamabad would not accept any foreign country's interference over prosecuting the LeT founder leader.

Malik said Pakistan would not entertain the diktat of any foreign country, as the investigations regarding Saeed's role in the 26/11 carnage were on and action would only be taken against him if there was sufficient evidence to prove India's stance.

"Pakistan takes its decisions on its own and there is no need to take dictation from any other country," said Malik.

Interacting with media persons during a press conference here, Malik said New Delhi must provide information to Islamabad regarding any future terror attack plot.

"Unconditional help was provided to India for elimination of terrorism and Pakistan would not allow anybody to use its soil for terrorism," The News quoted Malik, as saying.

"We are willing to cooperate but for tangible results, not for political point-scoring," he added.

Responding to a question, he said Pakistan also wants a peaceful resolution of all outstanding issues with India. (ANI)
