Mahanavami being celebrated the country

Kolkata, Sep.27 (ANI): Mahanavami festival is being marked across the country on Sunday, the 3rd day of the Durga Puja festival.

In West Bengal, a large number of people from different walks of life are thronging the specially set up Durga Puja pandals.

In Kolkata city, one can feel the puja fever, as brilliantly decorated pandal have been set up through out the city.

Beating of drums and blowing of conch shells have added to the religious fervour.

Also, on this occasion, to cater heavy rush of passengers, Eastern, Southeastern and Metro railways are running special trains

The state administration has made elaborate arrangements to maintain law and order. (ANI)
