Bank of America sued for bad customer service
New Year, Sep 26: Unhappy with Bank of America's (BoA) customer service a man has decided to sue US' largest bank for '1,784 billion, trillion dollars'.
Dalton Chiscolm who sued the bank in Aug 2009 has demanded '1,784 billion, trillion dollars' be deposited into his account. And according to the court papers, the man has also demanded an additional 200,164,000 dollars.
However, Judge Denny Chin who is experienced with these kinds of cases, called the man's claims 'Incomprehensible'.
In a brief order released on Thursday, Sep 24 in Manhattan federal court, US District Judge Chin wrote, "He seems to be complaining that he placed a series of calls to the bank in New York and received inconsistent information from a Spanish woman. "
"He apparently alleges that checks have been rejected because of incomplete routing numbers," the judge adds.
Judge Chin who sentenced Bernard Madoff to a 150-year prison sentence a 65 billion dollar 'Ponzi scheme', has given Chislom until Oct 23 to substantiate his claims or his case will be dismissed
