Anna Hazare files complaint against NCP leader fro being life threat

Mumbai, Sep 26 (ANI): Senior Gandhian and social activist Anna Hazare filed a complaint on Saturday against the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Padamsinha Patil for conspiring to eliminate him.

Patil, an accused in Pawanraje Nimbalkar murder case got bail from the Alibagh Court on Friday.

Hazare filed the complaint with the Parner police in Ahmednagar District on the basis of confessional statement of Parasmal Jain.

Jain is also an accused in the Nimbalkar murder case and currently in jail.

It was reported that, Jain, in his confession had said that Patil had paid a sum of Rs 30 lakh to murder Nimbalkar, and also offered him money to kill Hazare, as he was exposing the corruption in the sugar factory business of Patil.

Hazare also demanded the Maharashtra Government to lodge a separate FIR against Patil for conspiring to murder him. (ANI)
