General Electric extends deal with Satyam
Hyderabad, Sep 25: In what comes a major boost to Mahindra Satyam that is battling against loss of clients due to the Satyam Computers' fraud, the company has received a three-year extension of its contract with General Electric (GE).
GE is one of the top five clients of Satyam and has been with the company for over a decade now.
"We recognise the support extended over the years by Satyam and their commitment to delivery excellence even during trying times," GE's global development centre leader Steve Morrison said.
Welcoming the extension of the deal, Satyam's global account executive Arvind Malhotra said that this showed the GE's belief in the commitment the company's engineers demonstrated.
