Filing of nominations for Maharashtra, Haryana Arunachal elections ends today

New Delhi, Sept 25 (ANI): Filing of nominations for Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections will close this evening.

The last day for withdrawing of nomination is September 29 and the scrutiny will be held on September 26.

In Haryana, Janhit Congress has released its final list of 33 candidates. The Congress has also released second list of 17 candidates. And the BJP announced 13 more names of candidates.

126 candidates have filed nominations till yesterday in Arunachal Pradesh.

The single-phased elections will be held for total 438 State Assembly seats-- 288 (Maharashtra), 90 (Haryana), and 60 (Arunachal) - on October 13.

The counting will be held on October 22. The election process will complete on October 25.

There are 82,028 (Maharashtra), 12,894 (Haryana), and 2,061 (Arunachal Pradesh) polling centres in the three states. (ANI)
