One killed, three injured in two separate encounters in J and K

Bandipora, (Jammu and Kashmir), Sep 23 (ANI): In two separate encounters with the militants on Wednesday, in Bandipora and Baramullah, respectively at least one-army soldier was killed and three others were injured.

According to sources two militant were also killed in the encounters.

The Banadipora encounter, started at around 4.30 p.m. on Tuesday was still continuing even after 22 hours.

According to sources the security forces have blown up a terrorist hideout in the region.

The Army suspects that at least three terrorists are holding up in a house.

It is the 33rd encounter in 46 days in the state. (ANI)
