NRI mom to be sentenced for killing daughters
London, Sep 22: An Indian-origin woman accused of stabbing daughters to death was found guilty and would be sentenced on Tuesday, Sep 22.
Rekha Kumari-Baker, 41, a hotel worker, admitted killing Davina Baker, 16, and Jasmine Baker, 13, with a kitchen knife in 2007.
The court was told that Davina was stabbed 39 times at the house in Stretham, on Jun 2007.
After killing the children Kumari-Baker rang a friend and said "I have done something terrible."
