Cong wants to contest alone in next Bihar polls
Patna, Sep 22: Congress on Tuesday, Sep 22, said that they want to contest alone in the next Assembly elections in Bihar.
State Congress chief Anil Sharma said, "By saying that they are partnering with the Congress amounts to misleading people. It is nothing but a wishful thinking of the RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his LJP counterpart Ramvilas Paswan."
"We are however happy to note that both the RJD and LJP have realised the importance of Congress," Sharma said.
The Congress has immensely gained in terms of vote share in the Assembly polls and there is no need to enter into an alliance to contest the next polls, he said.
