Freelander 2 to hit Indian roads on Sep 22

New Delhi, Sep 21: Tata's Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR) is all set to launch the cheapest sport utility vehicle (SUV), Freelander 2 in India on Tuesday, Sep 22.

The car which will is priced at around Rs 35 lakh, is a compact yet premium all-wheel drive vehicle.

However, the car is available for almost half the price in the UK 21,300 pounds (Rs 17 lakh). The car gets costier in India as it attracts at least 100 per cent import.

The car is also sold in France, Italy and Spain and China.
