Shocking pics show US Fritzl's filthy house

London, Sept 19 (ANI): The first shocking pictures taken inside the filthy house of Phillip Garrido, dubbed the "American Fritzl", have emerged.

Taken by building inspectors, the snaps show the chaotic world of Garrido and his wife Nancy who lived in the Antioch house while sex slave Jaycee Dugard languished in a dirty backyard.

Meanwhile, cops fear convicted rapist Garrido may have murdered more than a dozen young girls and prostitutes, reports The Daily Star.

Police said two sniffer dogs indicated corpses could be present in the yard where Jaycee was held after being snatched outside her home aged 11 in 1991.

A spokesman said: "They picked up a scent that may or may not be a sign of some remains.

"The first dog was very tentative. The second dog was indicating directly."

Garrido, 58, and his wife, 55, deny 29 counts of kidnapping and sex crimes.

Prosecutors say Jaycee - now 29 - spent 18 years in a makeshift compound in the back yard. (ANI)
