When Chinese surgeons 'forgot' to operate on man in OT
New Delhi, Sep 18 (ANI): A Chinese patient, who was given an anaesthetic injection and taken into the operation theatre for a surgery, was wheeled back into his room only to find out that the doctors "forgot" to operate on him.
Cao Longbao was to undergo a surgery to get three polypi removed from his intestines at a local hospital in Shanghai.
Longbao was wheeled into the operation theatre, where he lay unconscious for almost an hour before a nurse wheeled him back to his ward, thinking that the surgery was over.
But Cao told the nurse that he wasn't feeling any different "post-surgery", reports the China Daily.
And just when Cao was preparing to leave the hospital the next day, surgeons rushed to his ward and told him they had forgotten to operate on him.
The surgery was successfully performed a day later. (ANI)
