We are ready for any terror attack: Indian govt
New Delhi, Sep 18: Following Israel's warning of a probable strike from LeT, the group behind 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the Indian government declared that it was ready to face any situation.
"We are fully prepared and we will take care of whatever situation arises," said a Home Ministry spokesperson.
Israel issued a travel warning for its nationals stating that there was an 'imminent and concrete' input of LeT terror strike.
"The terrorist group that carried out the serious Mumbai attack in India is planning to carry out a number of attacks across India, particularly against concentrations of Western or Israeli tourists," warned a statement from Israel's counter-terrorism unit.
Meanwhile, the Chabad houses across India were planning numerous events for the celebration of Rosh Hashana, the Jewish new year.
The Mumbai attack in 2008, targeted a Chabad house, where six Israelis were killed.
