Talks with India shouldn't be conditional: Pak
Islamabad, Sep 17: Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Quershi on Thursday, Sep 17 said that the talks in New York should be held without any pre-conditions.
"The talks in New York should not be conditional. Indian has already made its stand clear on various issues during earlier talks held in Sharm-al-Sheikh in Egypt," Shah Mahmood Qureshi said.
When asked whether Islamabad will put forward any pre-condition for talks, Qureshi said, "We will clarify our stand on India during talks in New York."
When also asked about Pervez Musharraf's controversial remarks over the diversion of the US" war on terror aid, Qureshi stated that the government has already criticized him for his disclosures. "He has done a great disservice to the nation", he retorted.
However, he assured that Islamabad is aware about its responsibilities and it wants that the US aid should be utilized in a transparent way.
