Half-naked bodies of murdered couple found in Loni

Ghaziabad, Sep 17: Half-naked bodies of a couple were recovered from Nithora forest area, in Loni on Wednesday, Sep 16.

The police personnel who recovered the bodies from the forest said that the victims who were in the age group of 25 to 30 years could have been murdered after strangulation.

The police have ruled out the possibility of rape and have sent both the bodies for post-mortem.

According to eye witness accounts, the two were naked from waist down. And based on the boil marks seen on the woman's body there is a possibility that the victims were tortured before death.

The faces of the victims were burnt with acid in order the hide their identity, said local sources.
