Aarushi murder: CBI detains two for questioning
New Delhi, Sep 16: Just days after the Delhi Police recovered Aarushi Talwar's phone and handed it over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), two people have been detained in connection with the murder of teenage girl.
Reports say that the CBI has detained a man identified to be Rambhool and his sister Kusum for questioning. Although the two have been detained, it is not clear if they have been arrested, said sources.
CBI refused to comment on the development.
The Delhi Police recovered Aarushi's black Nokia N72 on Saturday, Sep 12 from a town in UP and handed it over to the CBI which is probing the double murder of the girl and the family's domestic help that took place in May 2008.
