Wipro wins 3-year outsourcing deal from ANA
Mumbai, Sep 15; Wipro Ltd as reportedly secured a a three-year outsourcing contract with All Nippon Airways (ANA) which is Japan's second largest carrier.
Although the financial details of the deal were not disclosed, under the contract Wipro will be providing materials management system to ANA built on a scalable platforms.
Through the system, regulatory compliance will be bolstered. This will also help predict parts demand better and help manage inventory levels. It will help ANA increase its cost competitiveness, improve the quality of its aircraft part maintenance business and improve asset management.
Under the deal, Wipro, India's third largest outsourcer, will manage the complete program and deliver services such as Application Development, Program Management and Vendor management.
