Infosys' GEC II inaugurated in Mysore
Mysore, Sep 15: UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi inaugurated the Infosys" Global Education Center (GEC) at its Mysore Campus on Tuesday, Sep 15.
The world class training facility has been established to strengthen learning activities across Infosys at its Mysore campus. The new facility has the capacity to accommodate a total of 14,000 (GEC I – 4,500 and GEC II – 9,500) Infoscions.
Speaking on the occasion, N R Narayana Murthy, Chairman and Chief Mentor, Infosys Technologies Limited, said, "The Education Center is a testimony of Infosys" commitment to building the competency of our employees."
The inauguration ceremony also saw the presence of leaders like Karnataka CM, B S Yeddyurappa and Leader of the Opposition, Karnataka State Legislative Assembly, Siddaramaiah.
