Bombers target Nepal's VP house again

Kathmandu, Sep 15: A couple of bombs were discovered near the residence of Nepal's Vice President Paramananda Jha, who was earlier in controversy for taking the oath of office in Hindi.

However, the security forces defused the explosives before they could explode, Jha's aide said.

On Sunday, Sep 13, a bomb disposal squad of the Nepal Army had defused a bomb planted near his residence.

On Aug 28, a bomb had exploded near Jha's residence, injuring one people. Kirat Republican Workers' Party (KRWP), an armed outfit, had claimed responsibility for the blast.

This is the fifth time that bombs were found near his house.
