Security forces arrest Pak Taliban spokesman
Islamabad, Sep 11: Pakistan security forces arrested Muslim Khan, the Taliban spokesperson in Swat valley, reported the military officials.
Major-General Athar Abbas, the military spokesman said that Khan and four other Taliban leaders were arrested from Swat in a successful operation.
The army attacked the Swat valley and adjoining districts of North West Frontier Province in late April 2009, when militants proceeded nearer to Islamabad.
Although most of the region was cleared, yet there were some pockets of resistance.
