Wearing shorts to work can get you fired!
New Delhi, September 10 (ANI): Showing up at work in shorts may not be a good idea - ask the Chinese official who learnt it the hard way.
An official of the shipping administration bureau of Haikou, Hainan province, was shown the door for wearing a pair of shorts to the workplace.
Xu, a deputy section chief, was on a law-enforcement inspection visit while sporting the inappropriate attire, reports the China Daily.
The official faced the consequences after a shipping logistics firm reported the incident.
Xu was fired by the bureau in a bid to "raise the bureau's image following a high-level emergency meeting." (ANI)
