NY airports ban Pam's PETA ad
New York, Sep 10: American airports banned a new animal rights commercial featuring former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson claiming the ad to be too raunchy.
The advertisement for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) featured Anderson as a scantily-clad flight security guard stripping passengers of fur and leather, reported hollywood.com.
The ad, which was to be showcased at three New York City's airports was pulled down as it was feared that it would offend passengers with young children.
A CNN Airport Network representative wrote to PETA bosses terming the commercial as 'particularly sensitive because children make up part of the demographic in airports'.
The animal rights group now wants to show the film on in-flight entertainment.
