Mixed voter turnout in by-elections for 20 assembly seats
New Delhi, Sep.10 (ANI): Thursday saw a mixed voter turnout in bye-elections to 20 assembly seats in the three states of Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi.
In Uttarakhand, about 35 per cent polling was reported till noon in Vikasnagar Assembly by-election of Dehradun district.
In Madhya Pradesh, polling parties could not reach forty one polling booths in Tendukheda assembly segment in Narsinghpur district due to excessive rainfall.
However polling is going on peacefully in the remaining 160 booths in this segment. In Gohad assembly segment of Bhind district peaceful polling has been reported.
Very low turnout was seen due to the heavy rain on the polling booths set up for bye-election of Dwarka Assembly constituency in New Delhi.(ANI)
