Five students killed in Delhi school stampede
New Delhi, Sep 10: At least five students were killed and 30 injured in a stampede in government school in East Delhi on Thursday, Sep 10, following rumours of short circuit caused by heavy rain.
The incident took place in a Government Senior Secondary School located in the Khajoori Khas locality.

According to media reports, the stampede occurred after the students were asked to vacate the classroom following rumours of electrocution in the rainwater accumulated on the school premises.
The injured have been rushed to the Guru Tegh Bahadur hospital.
