Rahul woos Tamil Nadu youth activists & farmers

Thanjavur, Sept 9: AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi met youth Congress activists and farmers on the second day of his three-day Tamil Nadu tour.

Party sources reported that Gandhi in a 30-minutes meeting advised the youth activists to expand and strengthen the Congress base.

Youth Congress activists and farmers of Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Tiruchirappalli, Pudukottai, Perambalur and Ariyalur districts had gathered to meet Gandhi.

It is said that Rahul Gandhi's tour was to attract more youth to Congress.
