CBI announces new team to investigate Aarushi case
New Delhi, Sep 9: Amid the new controversy of Aarushi's vaginal swabs being switched, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday, Sep 9 named a new team to investigate into the double murder case.
The team will be led by Javed Ahmad, Joint Director, CBI Lucknow, and Neelabh Kishore, CBI SP, Dehradun. Till now the team was headed by Joint Director Arun Kumar.
This step was taken after the CBI came under severe criticism over how it has handled the case.
Recently, there were reports that the CBI knew that the Aarushi's vaginal swab was switched with that of an unidentified man.
Aarushi Talwar and her domestic help, Hemraj were found murdered in Noida in May 2008.
