Agitating Chandigarh farmers clash with police

Chandigarh, Sep 8: The protest rally staged by Chandigarh farmers who were demanding higher prices for their produce turned violent forcing the police to use tear gas and lathicharge to disperse the crowd.

The agitating farmers indulged in violence and clashed with the police on Tuesday, Sep 8 evening.

The mob set vehicles on fire and damaged many two wheelers on the streets, say reports.
