Iran to discuss nuclear prog with world powers
Tehran, Sep 7: President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that Iran was ready to interact with the world powers regarding its nuclear programme.
On Monday, Sep 7, Ahmadinejad said that at first Iran would discuss its package of proposals to the five permanent members of the U..N Security Council plus Germany.
However, he did not give any specific dates as to when Iran would present its program though the Western power given time frame is till the end of Sep 2009.
Ahmadinejad said setting deadlines for talks is 'incompatible' with the needs of the world today.
However, Iran, denied when the United States and its allies accused Iran of using its civilian nuclear program to develop nuclear weapons.
