Man tries to kill wife for waking him on wedding night!
London, September 5 (ANI): A man in England tried to kill his newly wed wife, after she woke him on their wedding night.
Stephen Grimwood was so enraged that he broke a champagne glass, threw his bride Denise at a door and yelled: "I'm going to f****** kill you."
And when his cut and bruised wife tried to run for help, he held the pillow over her face, reports the Sun.
The incident took place at the Oakley Court Hotel, Windsor, Berks.
The occurrence comes across as a shock, since the couple was seemingly happy together and had even bought a home in Bracknell, Berks, where Denise now lives.
Defence lawyer Jeremy Sirrell told Slough JPs the pair had no history of violence.
However, Grimwood, of Hook, Hants, has admitted assault and criminal damage.
He has been told that he could be jailed at sentencing on October 27. (ANI)
