London, Sep 5 (ANI): After it was revealed that American Fritzl, Phillip Garrido, had been arrested in 1972 for drugging and raping a 14-year-old girl, details of the incident have emerged.
According to Antioch police lieutenant Leonard Orman, the girl and a friend met then 21-year-old Garrido and another man near a public library.
And after being given barbiturates she was taken to a motel where she was given more drugs before being repeatedly sexually assaulted.
The girl's ordeal only ended after her parents located her and called the police, but the case against Garrido was dropped, as the terrified girl refused to testify in court.
Lieutenant Orman also revealed that the victim contacted the authorities last week after the full horror of Jaycee Lee's abduction was revealed.
"She has a lot of concern about what Mr Garrido has done since the 1972 incident," the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
"She remembers being there and being repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted by him. At some point a day or two later her mother and father found her there," he added.
Orman also added there was a "good chance" Garrido had attacked others. (ANI)
