Black box of YSR's chopper recovered

Hyderabad, Sep 5: The black box of Bell 430 helicopter, that crashed on Wednesday, Sep 2 killing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Rajashekhara Reddy along with four others, has been recovered.

Officials on Friday, Sep 4 revealed that the black box or the cockpit voice recorder was recovered from the Nallamalla forest in Kurnool district by anti-Maoist Greyhounds force.

The black box was found during search operations in the area and it is now with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) which has began a probe into the crash.

The black box is usually considered as the critical piece of evidence in any air crash probe.
