YSR fans attempt suicide after hearing about chopper crash

Hyderabad, Sep 4 (ANI): A number of admirers of the departed Andhra Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy attempted to commit suicide after hearing the news of his death.

Reddy's son Jaganmohan has requested the fans and supporters to control their emotions and not take any extreme steps.

"Due to acts such as suicide my father's soul will not rest in peace. He had an ever-smiling face and worked for uplift of the poor. The people should not resort to such acts," an emotional Jaganmohan said.

About eight persons reportedly suffered cardiac arrest after hearing the news of Reddy's death (ANI)
