Yahoo to fight Twitter with Meme

New Delhi, Sep 4: Yahoo which is trying hard to make some space for itself in the over competitive Internet arena has now released Twitter-like microblogging site Meme in English.

This comes after the company released Yahoo Meme in Portuguese and Spanish, to compete with Twitter which has almost taken over the Internet sphere in the recent times. Meme also shares similarilies with other microblogging sites like Tumblr, Pownce.

Yahoo Meme which works in an invite-only mode gives its users a username based URL. The users can fill their blogging space with text, images, music, and videos. While it offers options like Meme title, 100 character description, avatar/photo and notifications, it falls back when it comes to customisation options.
