Pak Army Chief says war to continue till extremists are uprooted

Islamabad, Sep 4 (ANI): Pakistan's Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Friday said that the army has broken the back of terrorists and the war will continue until the complete elimination of extremists from the country.

When COAS Kayani arrived in Swat's scenic place Kalam, Pakistani soldiers accorded him warm welcome.

Addressing the jawans and local veterans on the occasion, he said the security forces would continue the war until the extremists are completely swept away.

He held meetings with local veterans.

Earlier, he arrived in Malakand, where he inaugurated Army Public School meant for educating the arrested children who were trained as suicide bomber and militant. (ANI)
