Mumbai landslide kills 10, several others missing

Mumbai, Sep 4: A landslide triggered off by heavy rains in Mumbai claimed at least 10 lives on Thursday, Sep 3 night in a slum district.

The landslide which took place at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Nagar slums in Saki-Naka area injured 25 others said rescuers. It has also buried two dozen shanties in the area.

Through rescue operations, officials and local people managed to save two dozen people who were trapped under the debris, while several others are still missing.
