YSR death: BSY brings his state to a abrupt halt
Bangalore, Sep 3: The Karnataka government on Thursday, Sep 3, announced two-day mourning in the State to express sorrow for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who died on Wednesday, Sep 2 in helicopter crash.
An emergency cabinet meeting held with Home Minister V S Acharya chairing, in the absence of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurapa who is on China tour, it was also decided to declare State Government holiday on Friday, Sep 4.
Acharya will lead a delegation comprising of Ministers Janardhana Reddy, R Ashok, Ramachandra Gowda and Suresh Kumar which leave for Hyderabad today and pay last respect to the departed soul.
But the question rises here is that why Karnataka is declaring a holiday for a CM of neighbouring state.
We do respect all CMs and regret he died so early, in this economy, why is the Karnataka govt setting a bad example?
