Hyderabad, Sep 3: Even before the dead body of the dead Chief Minister reached the Hyderabad office, there are reports that there is an apparent push for the chief minister's son and Kadapa Congress MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to be declared the next Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

According a Times News Network report, there is demand for this move from both the public and the party. Several party leaders are reportedly carrying out a silent campaign.

MPs and MLAs assembled at the Secretariat, the CM"s camp office and Gandhi Bhavan (state Congress headquarters) publicly demanded that Jagan be made CM.

At the CM's office where the body is expected to arrive shortly, at least 22 leaders have told media that they want the CM's son to succeed YSR.

Apart from this, the Congress workers have reportedly stated campaigning for Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on the streets by shouting slogans on the streets.
