Anil slips, Mukesh exits world power ranking
New Delhi, Sep 3: Apart from having an adverse impact on their relationship, the KG basin gas dispute between the Ambani brothers seems to have corrupted their reputation too.
While Reliance Industries' (RIL) Mukesh Ambani has made a complete exit from the list of world's 100 most powerful people, his brother Anil Ambani's ranking slipped 30 ranks.
RNRL's Anil Ambani who is ranked at 97th is also the only indian in the annual ranking compiled by British fashion magazine Vanity Fair.
Anil and Mukesh jointly held the position of 67th rank in the previous year's list.
Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein tops the list for 2009 which is described as 'The New Establishment 2009' by the magazine. The other significant names on the list are Apple's iconic chief Steve Jobs and legendary investor Warren Buffett.
